Getting Started - Military Transcripts

You will receive personalized counseling right from the start. The military transfer counselor will advise you throughout the admissions process and follow your progress through matriculation. Once you have matriculated, a Charter Oak academic counselor will guide you the rest of the way in your degree planning and completion. You may communicate entirely at a distance by phone, e-mail, fax or mail. There is never a need to come to campus. To receive an evaluation of your existing academic background including military training and occupations, you must:
  • Submit completed application and official transcripts to Charter Oak along with a non-refundable application fee of $75 .
  • Request official transcripts from all colleges attended be submitted to Charter Oak.
  • Request official military documents required for support of your application based upon your branch of service. Links to appropriate military web sites are listed below. You may also require other ACE approved military school transcripts.

Upon receipt of all official documentation, an evaluation will be completed and sent to you via email. The military transfer counselor will then assist you with the outcome of the evaluation and discuss appropriate next steps including enrollment to complete your degree program.
